Miss Me But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no tears in a gloom-filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little – But not for long
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,

For this is a journey we all must take,
And each must go alone,
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to your friends that we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good works,

Perhaps if we could see the splendour of the land
To which our loved ones are called from you and me,
We’d understand
Perhaps if we could hear the welcome they receive
From old familiar voices all so dear
We would not grieve.
Perhaps if we could know the reason why they went
We’d smile and wipe away the tears that flow
We’d wait content

Not Forgotten
I wanted to pop by today
to share with you my prayer,
of the thanks I give for the memories
that are placed within my care.
For now you're safe inside my mind,
locked in with a special key
and it takes but the fondest thought
and your face is there to see.
When it comes to you that isn't hard,
I think of you so often
and no matter where I am or go
to me you're not forgotten.

Heaven at Christmas
The window of Heaven is open,
The angels can fly to and fro,
And those that I love can all gather,
And look down at Christmas below.
For Christmas is special in Heaven,
The love is so easy to see,
And down from the window at Christmas,
God sends a present to me.
'I will forever be with you,
Your side, I shall always be near,
And though you may not always see me,
In your heart I will always be there.
I will warm up your soul during Christmas,
My love is a fire burning bright,
Then my blanket of love will surround you,
And keep you all through the night.
On the brink of your Christmas morning,
I'll be the star at the top of the tree,
Shining my light on your teardrops,
You'll see a reflection of me.
Then as the gifts are all opened,
With the children encircling the hearth,
Look deep in their little faces,
Their kisses will be from my heart.
For the window of Heaven is open,
My love can pour out so free,
And those that I love can all gather,
And look up to Heaven at me.'
I Believe
I believe in Miracles
And dreams that will come true,
And I believe in happiness,
And friendship, through and through.
I believe that when you cry,
Your tears are not in vain,
And when you're sad and lonely,
Someone knows your pain.
I believe that when you laugh,
A sparkle starts to shine,
And before you know it sparks will spread,
From more hearts than just thine.
I believe the gifts you have,
Are there for you to share,
And when you give them from the heart,
The whole world knows you care.
I believe that if you give,
Even just to one,
That gift will grow in magnitude,
Before the day is done.

The greatest gift of all,
And when it's given from the heart,
It will conquer all.

Tomorrow
My thoughts are with all of you as try to deal with your loss and the gap that is left in your life. May you find the strength and support you need to help you through the hard times, and may you find happiness in the wonderful memories you have.
When tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not there to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes are filled with tears for me
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today
While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say
I know how much you loved me, as much as I loved you
And each time you think of me I know you'll miss me too
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand
That an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand
He said my place was ready in heaven far above
And that I’d have to leave those I dearly love
But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye
For all my life I always thought I didn't want to die
I had so much to live for and so much to do
It almost seemed impossible that I was leaving you
I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad
I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had
If I could re-live yesterday, I thought for just a while
I’d say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile
Then I realized fully that this was not to be
For emptiness and memories would take the place of me
But when I walked through heavens gates I felt so much at home
When god looked down and smiled at me from his great golden throne
He said this is eternity and all I promised you
Today your life on earth has passed but here it starts anew
I promise no tomorrows, but today will always last
And each day’s a new day there’s no longing for the past
Now you've been forgiven and at last from pain you’re free
So wont you come and take my hand and share your life with me
When tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart
For every time you think of me I’ll be right there in your heart
